| On August 11, 2007 Louise our mascot and lady of Denver was kidnapped in broad daylight and never heard from again. On September 1, 2007, after weeks of mourning and community outrage the new Louise was unveiled. Over 30 people gathered for this grand event. They cheered, gasped with armed security on-hand got their cameras clicking. She wore a lovely lava colored stretch outfit with an orange and purple swoop on her pretty little head. THE ADDRESS IS: 4924 E Colfax at Elm Street (A few blocks east of Colorado Blvd) This is a great location for coffee lovers to hang out and enjoy coffee that actually tastes like it was meant to. Of course if you aren't into coffee, there are LOTS of other choices! We will keep you posted on the latest news and events... | ROAD CONSTRUCTION! CDOT will be doing some much-needed improvements to this part of COLFAX! Curbs, Gutters and Sidewalks will b repaired and a new surface of asphalt will be laid down from Colroado Blvd to Quebec from June 6- August 8 Keep coming in! We are OPEN! You can always park in the Rite-Aid parking lot across the street. |
